Operation REASSURANCE
Operation UNIFIER is the Canadian Armed Forces' (CAF) military training and capacity building mission in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was launched in 2015 at the request of the Ukrainian government, and in 2023, was extended until March 2026. There are currently over 300 CAF members now deployed under Op UNIFIER training and support roles, as well as aiding in the facilitation of military aid delivery.

Operation REASSURANCE is currently the Canadian Armed Forces' (CAF) largest overseas mission, through which the CAF contributes to NATO assurance and deterrence in Central and Eastern Europe, and is part of the biggest reinforcement of Alliance collective defence in a generation.

Operation IMPACT is part of Canada’s whole-of-government approach to the Middle East. The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) mission to build the military capabilities of Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon, and set the conditions for their long-term success. Op IMPACT complements the work of other Canadian government agencies such as Global Affairs Canada and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Operation LENTUS is the Canadian Armed Forces' (CAF) response to natural disasters in Canada. Provincial and territorial authorities are the first to respond when a major natural disaster occurs in Canada. If they become overwhelmed, they may ask the CAF for help.

Operation (Op) NANOOK is the Canadian Armed Forces' signature northern operation comprised of a series of comprehensive activities designed to exercise the defence of Canada and to secure our northern regions.
Op NANOOK takes place each year across Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Labrador. It features up to 4 deployments throughout the year.
