About Us
Saving a life requires more than just medical knowledge and skill. It also requires a system of care. A field ambulance functions as a rapid medical connector. We can stabilize and evacuate injured soldiers or civilians to wherever they need to go for definitive care. Our members deploy on peace support, humanitarian, and combat missions. There’s no medical emergency that we can’t handle!
Our home is Moss Park Armoury, in downtown Toronto. We are a Canadian Forces Primary Reserve medical unit and part of 4 Health Services Group. Our ~200 members are tasked with providing medical support for 32 Canadian Brigade Group, and are employed by the Canadian Forces Health Services Group, which consists of the Royal Canadian Medical Service and the Royal Canadian Dental Corps.
Our mottos are:
